Policy and advocacy
Applying my research to address real world challenges constitutes an important component of my work. My policy and community engagement work focuses on support services for survivors of abuse and trauma, and the likely impact of proposed legislative reforms on survivors. I have given evidence in the UK Parliament, contributed to national government consultations, and my work has been cited in Scottish Parliamentary reports. I welcome further opportunities for community engagement, especially on topics relating to:
- support for victims/survivors of abuse
- preventing intimate partner violence
- technology and abuse
